If you're a subscriber or a regular reader, you may have noticed that there's been a bit of a pause in postings from Integrative Insights. This pause has been intentional and purposeful. Over the last few weeks, I've taken some time (my own advice?) to reflect about the last year and the over 40 posts I have shared. Wow!
Over this time, something that has taken up residence in my awareness is the concept of microlearning. In short, "microlearning is an approach to learning new information in small chunks at a time," and is based on Hermann Ebbinghaus' Forgetting Curve.
.
Reframed and stated differently, microlearning can be categorized by "bite-sized" pieces of information that are easily digestible, applicable, and helpful for our daily lives. These bite-sized "nuggets" can stack up over time to be surprisingly transformational.
Just as we are ever evolving and transforming as human beings, inside and out, so is Integrative Insights. With that, I formally introduce you to Integrative Insight Bites. Insight Bites will be smaller, shorter, bite-sized ideas that are portable, stackable, immediately applicable, possibly transformational and inspirational (anyone now humming the theme song to The Muppet Show is definitely a child of the '70s & '80s.).
So there you have it! Without further adieu:
Today's Insight Bite is borrowed from minimalist Joshua Becker:
Give the Gift of Overdue Peace.
Pass it on.
Until next time, be well.
